Nikkita Lyons says missing last Friday’s SmackDown in Canada had nothing to do with the vaccine

According to last Friday’s Daily Update Report on F4WOnline, Nikkita Lyons was pulled from WWE SmackDown because she was not allowed to travel into Canada, due to having been vaccinated against COVID-19. Lyons took to Twitter on Monday to deny F4WOnline’s initial report.

WWE Hall of Famer and Vice President of Talent Developmental Creative – Shawn Michaels had announced on Twitter last Friday that Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark were injured, and could not complete in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament on SmackDown.

Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction replaced Stark and Lyons, and went over to advance to the semi-finals. However, it was announced on Monday that Dolin and Jayne were pulled because of “injuries suffered by Gigi Dolin.” WWE did not provide any details on the nature of the injuries suffered to Dolin.
