During her challenge for the AEW Women’s Championship against Thunder Rosa at Battle of the Belts III, Jamie Hayter appears to have suffered a broken nose. Hayter’s injury was first reported by Fightful Select, and then F4WOnline.
What was not reported in previous spoiler reports from the taping, is that the injury occurred when Hayter was delivering her sheer drop brainbuster to Rosa. When Rosa came down, her knee hit Hayter’s face and she immediately began grabbing it before making a pin attempt.
The match continued, and Hayter lost after a roll-up by Rosa for the win. Hayter’s nose never did bleed, but looked as if it had shifted to one side during a brief close-up from a camera angle.
As of this writing, Hayter has yet to comment on social media about the injury.
