According to a report by Fightful Select, Women of Wrestling (WOW) made attempts to get WWE Hall of Famer Lita to join the company ahead of announcing their upcoming return to television, which will be in syndication this September on CBS affiliates.
The report states that WOW supposedly wanted to center things around Lita to add some big-name value. It was further stated Lita made it clear, that she had no interest in working with David McClane, who was the original creator of GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) that was made popular during the 1980’s. The report did not specify, however, what Lita’s reason was for not wanting to work with McClane.
