According to a fan at Saturday’s NXT 2.0 house show in Largo Event Center in Largo, FL, Tony D’Angelo appears to have suffered a shoulder injury. As of this writing it is not known the nature and severity of D’Angelo’s injury. WWE has not confirmed the injury.
Twitter user El Mangosta (@cmhendricks58) posted photos showing D’Angelo holding his shoulder and WWE referees checking on him. He also notes that it seems the injury is legit.
D’Angelo has been one of the regulars on NXT 2.0 with his Wiseguys faction that includes Channing Lorenzo and Troy Donovan.
The NXT brand started an eight city tour Friday night that will go through Florida. This is the first time since before the start of COVID-19 pandemic that NXT has gone back on the road for non-television events.
