AEW announced on Wednesday that Sting will not be in Las Vegas, Nevada this coming weekend for Fan Fest ahead of the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
According to AEW Sting has not been cleared to travel due to being injured last week. AEW is offering refunds to fans who purchased tickets to see Sting.
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Sting was beat down by The Undisputed Elite, which also included having his ankle smashed in a steel chair by Kyle O’Reilly.
As of this report, there is no word on how badly Sting is injured. However, it appears with last week’s angle, for now, Sting has been written off AEW TV.
