CHIKARA: The Ladies of the BDK make a splash with Filsinger Games!
Look out! The beautiful and dangerous ladies of the Bruderschaft are on a mission and they’ll be competing with men in the upcoming CHIKARA Wrestling Game – would you expect any less? Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze were tired of being treated like second class citizens and being forced to take on lesser women wrestlers. They sought new challenges and joined the BDK to prove that they can compete with the men of CHIKARA. CHIKARA has no weight or gender divisions and allows everybody to compete on a level playing field.

You’re in control when you book the matches with the CHIKARA Wrestling Game! The ladies of the BDK are the latest names announced for the game roster by Filsinger Games. The highly-anticipated CHIKARA Wrestling Game will be exclusively released on June 24 at CHIKARA’s “The Case of the Bulletproof Waldo” in Chicago at Logan Square Auditorium! Game creator Tom Filsinger will be a special guest at this event and you can meet him when you purchase your game!
The CHIKARA Wrestling Game will feature 24 full-color playing cards with awesome card art by Werner Mueck as well as a handbook with wrestler bios plus everything you’ll need to play! The tabletop card game uses the same fast action system used for Filsinger Games hit games; Champions of the Galaxy and Legends of Wrestling Card Game.

This past Sunday marked the 1 year anniversary of Europe’s only all female
wrestling promotion Pro-Wrestling:EVE.
Since the début show on May 8 2010 Pro-Wrestling:EVE has lead an uprising
in the recognition of European female wrestlers. In under 12 months
Pro-Wrestling:EVE had recorded 8 DVDs for release, expanded from our home
base into new venues, opened doors for talent to appear in promotions that
would otherwise not feature women’s wrestling, helped talent get more
international recognition and bookings, upgraded our set and filming
equipment to some of the best around on the independent wrestling scene
with TV quality cameras and dual video screens, announced new working
agreements with promotions such as 1PW in the UK and Ice Ribbon in Japan,
been home to some of the very best women’s wrestling matches to take place
anywhere in the world, crowned the first Pro-Wrestling:EVE champion in
‘The Future’ Britani Knight and so much more.
Recently Pro-Wrestling:EVE announced their next set of DVD recordings to
be a part of a loaded weekend of wrestling working alongside the highest
profile wrestling promotion in Europe – 1PW on the weekend of October 8
and 9 2011 at The Doncaster Dome.
The fortunate fans in attendance will not only be able to witness an
amazing weekend of professional wrestling but also get to meet one of the
greatest professional wrestlers of all time in former WWE World
Heavyweight Champion ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels.
What makes the weekend even more special is that for the very first time
in history female stars from Japan will grace the UK as Japan’s #1 Joshi
Puroresu promotion Ice Ribbon journey to the UK to take on the
Professionals of Pro-Wrestling:EVE in a series of EVE vs Ice Ribbon
inter-promotional matches!

with Morecambe, Lancaster based XWA – one of the highest profile wrestling
promotions in the UK who are regularly featured in national British
tabloid newspaper ‘The Daily Star’.

“Thanks to a brand new partnership between XWA Wrestling and Europe’s only
all-female wrestling promotion Pro-Wrestling:EVE, a women’s title match
between the two best female wrestlers currently competing on the continent
has been added to XWA War on the Shore VII on Saturday June 4.
This match at The Carleton in Morecambe will be for the Pro-Wrestling:EVE
Championship, and will have a true international flavour as it pits the
champion Britani Knight from Norwich, England against the number one
contender Jenny Sjodin from Sundsvall, Sweden.
At just 18 years of age, Britani Knight (pictured below with the
Pro-Wrestling:EVE Title) is one of the hottest female prospects to ever
come out of the United Kingdom. It was recently reported in the Wrestling
Observer newsletter that Britani had a WWE try out last month and
therefore is a potential future superstar on both sides of the Atlantic.
As a member of the Knight wrestling dynasty; the daughter of Rowdy Ricky
Knight and the Sweet Saraya, and sister of The Zebra Kid and Zak Zodiac,
Britani certainly has wrestling in her blood. And by competing for the
XWA, thus following in the footsteps of all four of her family members,
she will become the fifth member of the Knight family to ever appear on a
Greg Lambert-promoted event in Morecambe.
But she will face a tough challenge in Jenny Sjodin (pictured below), who
has competed for XWA once before in 2010. Sjodin, 25, has a phenomenal
fighting pedigree in Mixed Martial Arts and amateur mat wrestling, having
won a gold medal in Ground Grappling and competed in the Grapplers’ Quest
tournament in New Jersey, USA, recognised by the Ultimate Fighting
Championship (UFC). She is one of the most dangerous competitors in
Pro-Wrestling:EVE and is feared for her lethal cross armbreaker
submission.
Miss Knight and Miss Sjodin know each other extremely well, having shared
victories against each other in the recent Pro-Wrestling:EVE two-day
tournament which saw Britani crowned champion on April 9 2011 in Sudbury,
Suffolk.
It is expected that XWA will recognise the winner of this match as its own
women’s champion.
Dann Read said: “I am delighted that Pro-Wrestling:EVE has joined with XWA
Wrestling to bring the biggest, best and most important matchup in
European women’s wrestling today to the great fans of Morecambe.
“Both girls have one win against the other, Jenny having made Britani tap
out, then Britani pinned Jenny in a rematch. Britani has skills and heart
beyond her years, having won the title tournament after competing in five
matches over two days, and while suffering with glandular fever. But she
will be healthy for this title match and will need to be. Jenny is one of
the biggest threats Britani could ever encounter, a submission specialist
who is well-versed in many different styles of wrestling.
“This partnership with XWA comes at a very important time for
Pro-Wrestling:EVE as we prepare to welcome the wrestlers from Ice Ribbon
to the UK in October, the first time a Japanese women’s wrestling (Joshi)
promotion will ever have visited Great Britain.
This prestigious and historic title match has been added to an already
mouthwatering card for XWA War on the Shore VII at The Carleton in
Morecambe on Saturday, June 4 2011. The card will be headlined by The
Royal Battle which sees David Deville, the professional wrestler who by
day works as a footman for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, put the FWA
World and XWA British Heavyweight Titles on the line against number one
