Two IMPACT stars confirm their departures from the company

JONAH has confirmed reports that he is officially no longer with IMPACT Wrestling, after his contract following the fallout from Rebellion television tapings that took place back on April 24th. His deal with IMPACT was only a short-term deal lasting five months. It is unknown why his contract was so short.

His last appearance with the company aired on this past Thursday night’s episode of IMPACT, losing to PCO in a Monster’s Ball match.

Since being released from WWE, he also made appearances for NJPW and various independent promotions such as PWG, DEFY, GCW and PROGRESS.

JONAH will square off against Blake Christian at Saturday’s New Japan Strong event.

Willie Mack took to Twitter on Friday to announce he is now a free agent after his IMPACT Wrestling contract expired, and declined the company’s new offer.

According to F4WOnline, Mack’s contract called for “a huge increase and IMPACT didn’t want to pay it.”

Mack is now accepting independent bookings. He will take on Jeff Cobb on next Sunday’s New Japan Strong television tapings at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

He made his IMPACT Wrestling debut in 2018. His final match with the company aired this past Thursday on AXST TV, where he teamed with Rich Swann against the Bullet Club’s Jay White and Chris Bey.
