ROH Women’s World Champion Deonna Purrazzo, and the Interim ROH Women’s World Champion Mercedez Martinez will have a title match to determine the Undisputed ROH Women’s Champion.
MJF teases IMPACT Wrestling star for next week’s Dynamite
During Wednesday night’s Dynamite, in a backstage interview, MJF teased the arrival of current IMPACT Wrestling star W. Morrisey (Formerly known as Big Cass in WWE) for next week’s show.
MJF was addressing Wardlow after he defeated Lance Archer. MJF went on to say “The reason I’m calm is because I’ve got a plan…And it’s a damn good one.” He then placed a call to a call to a “certain someone.” On the call MJF said, “Hey big man, question: ‘how would you feel about making six figures for one match?’ Alright!” MJF then said “Wardlow, next week you’re going up against a man who is smarter than you, stronger than you, and who is taller than you…and you can’t teach that.”
TNT Championship Changes Hands
Scorpio Sky is once again your AEW TNT Champion
Sky defeated Sammy Guevara on Wednesday night’s show to become a two-time TNT Champion.

Sky climbs the ladder but Conti jumps on his back allowing Sammy to climb up the other side. Paige jumps onto Sammy’s back and both men start climbing the ladder with the women on their backs. Paige and Conti start punching each other until they fall off. They start fighting and kick each other at the same time. Sammy flips off Sky but Sky bites his finger and pushes him off the ladder. He reaches for the belt but Sammy punches him and knocks him off. Sammy grabs the belt but Sky pushes the ladder over and Sammy lands on the ladder wrapped in barbed wire! Sky climbs the ladder but Guevara springboards off the top onto the ladder! Sky pushes him off anyway and pulls down the belt!
Rey Fenix makes a surprise return
Rey Fenix made a surprise return during Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite. Fenix had been out with an elbow injury after taking a bad spot through a table this past January.

The lights cut off and then when they cut back on Fuego del Sol is laying in the spotlight. The House of Black come out and Black goes to rip his mask off. Alex Abrahantes is standing in the ring covering his face and says that they have been waiting for the moment to blindside them. House of Black surround Alex but Penta comes through the tunnel followed by PAC. Alex then walks out of the tunnel and REY FENIX pulls off the robe in the ring making his return! Death Triangle attacks! All three guys hit stereo dives onto House of Black before the heels retreat.
Eddie Kingston gets a fireball to the face
In a backstage segment, the Jericho Appreciation Society attacked Santana, Ortiz, and Kingston. Jericho then tossed a fireball into Eddie Kingston’s face.
