Former WWE Superstar Ember Moon, now going by the in-ring name of Athena captured the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title at the promotion’s Warrior Wrestling XXI event, which took place Saturday night at the Bendix Arena in South Bend, Indiana.
The title had been held previously by Thunder Rosa, who relinquished the title after she defeated Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s Title in a Steel Cage Match at the St. Patrick’s Day Slam episode of Dynamite on March 17 in Rosa’s hometown of San Antonio.
Athena defeated Skye Blue and Shazza McKenzie to win the vacant women’s title.
