PWO TV #116: New Tag Title Contenders
Watch it online now – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9ZXjUOCsSk
PWO – Pro Wrestling Ohio – your televised pro wrestling alternative, with more guts, more desire, and more heart, from a young hungry roster competing to steal the show. Old school meets new age and tradition meets tomorrow, its pro wrestling the way you want it to be! It’s Cleveland-owned, nationally renowned!
Scheduled for this week’s broadcast…
#1 Contender’s Match – Sex Appeal vs. Aeroform
The war between these two factions has only intensified as the months have gone by, as Sex Appeal’s vain and ego-centric attitudes clash with Aeroform’s crowd-pleasing high-flying martial-arts hybrid. This week, Bobby Shields & the alleged “Mr. ’80s” Nicki Valentino battle Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick in tag team action, with the winning team receiving a shot at PWO Tag Team Champions The Sons of Michigan. Which team will edge out the other now that there is championship gold on the horizon for both teams?
Jason Bane – New PWO Champion!
It took PWO’s “Most Dominant Man” three-and-a-half years to combat bountys, hits, dumpsters, assaults, and everything else Aaron Maguire could throw at him before he finally rid his life of the obnoxious agent and captured what many feel rightfully should have been his all along, the PWO Title. This week, we hear Bane’s first comments as champion! What’s next for PWO’s most intimidating athlete?
“Filipino Flex Factory” Shiima Xion vs. “One Man Militia” Matthew Justice
Two of the most athletic and well-conditioned athletes in PWO see one-on-one action. Shiima is looking to catapult himself into championship contention, as he’s made it no secret that is his not-so-long-term goal in PWO. Justice is attempting to rebound after an assault perpetrated by Krimson & Jason Gory, who are at a new level of intensity and motivation. Which of these stars can guarantee the momentum they need going forward?
“Big Bear” Benjamin Boone vs. Ben Fruith
PWO’s loveable loser Fruith may have escaped the onslaught of the Sons for the past several weeks, however it seems the PWO Tag Team Champions have realized the best way to handle an issue is to do it yourself. Boone has demanded a match with his former lackey, and The Homeless Handicapped Connection have accepted the challenge on Fruith’s behalf. HHC treat Fruith as a true friend and believe he can finally stand up to his former abusive bosses. But with a lack of size or confidence, can Fruith survive a mauling from Michigan’s “Big Bear”?
Krimson vs. Dan Arkham
“The Embodiment of Evil” has not been the same since his encounter with Raven, and some rumors are even suggesting that a backstage confrontation between Krimson & Raven that our cameras did NOT capture may have led to the end of Raven in PWO. That coupled with Krimson’s attempted mid-ring hanging of Matthew Justice means this dark soul is more dangerous than ever. With Jason Gory by his side as his newest disciple, this duo have torn through PWO, with goals that are still not 100% clear. This week, Krimson steps into action once again and looks to continue to spread the misery and pain he knows all too well.
Statement On Last Week’s Chaos
Last week saw a tremendous moment as Jason Bane beat Marion Fontaine to capture the PWO Title. However, following the bout a tasteless act occurred when Marion Fontaine crossed the line and had a physical altercation with Wrestlezone.com personality Justin LaBar who was sitting in the front row. This week, we address this issue.
