During tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw in Bridgeport, CT, current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge announced that he was retiring from pro wrestling and WWE. It didn’t appear to be an angle or storyline as the announcement was very sudden being teased just 10 minutes before Raw went live on USA. Edge stated that he had been losing feeling in his arms and was advised by doctors to retire from in-ring action.
