According to a report by F4WOnline, in what was thought to be a done deal a few weeks ago is now said to be up in the air with Cody Rhodes status with returning to WWE. It was noted that things have apparently changed.
The report states that creative plans had already been laid out for his return but now something has caused uncertainty.
Furthermore it was said that WWE doesn’t know what’s going on with Cody Rhodes.
It is being said that apparently there has been some online discussion among fans that Cody and Brandi leaving AEW is an angle to have Cody run ROH, which Tony Khan has recently purchased.
