According to the Sports Business Journal, Disney cut its first WWE deal, agreeing to exclusively carry WWE Network in Indonesia.
It was noted that the deal will makes all WWE live events through a standard subscription available on Disney+ Hotstar starting with this Saturday’s Royal Rumble.
Furthermore, the report states that all events will be available in the Bahasa Indonesia and English languages.
Financial terms of the new deal were not disclosed. However, according to Deadline, “the companies are understood to have held preliminary discussions for other territories” as Disney continues to look to achieve their 2024 goal of between obtaining 300-350 million worldwide subscribers.
