WWE has announced late Monday night that Big E will now be defending the WWE Title in a Triple Threat Match against Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.
Rollins announced during the opening of Raw Monday night that he would be challenging Big E for the WWE Championship at Day 1.
The Day 1 pay-per-view will take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA on January 1, 2022. The event will stream live on Peacock in the US and the WWE Network everywhere else.
