In was being reported earlier on Friday that two different company-wide e-mails were said to be sent by WWE Talent Relations Director John Laurinaitis to announce the releases the 18 Superstars on Thursday.
One note in particular, is that is was said Laurinaitis misspelled Oney Lorcan’s last name in the email as “Lorkan”.
The e-mail on main roster releases reportedly stated the following:
“Due to budget cuts, the following WWE talent were released today, November, 4, 2021. Thank you, John Laurinaitis.”
The e-mail on NXT releases reportedly stated the following: “
Due to budgetary cuts, with immediate effect, we’ve come to terms with the following NXT talents. We wish these individuals all the best in their future endeavors.”
More WWE Headquarters staff gone
We reported previously that Vice President of Creative Services Stan Stanski, who had been with WWE for about 15 years, left the company this past Wednesday, which was said to be a shock within the company.
On Friday, WWE announced that Kristina Salen is gone from WWE as the Chief Financial Officer, and that Frank A. Riddick III has been named the newChief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. He will report directly to Vince McMahon.

WWE News and notes on released some of the released Superstars
On Friday, F4WOnline reported several notes regarding some of the 18 WWE Superstars that were released Thursday.
Main roster talents all have a 90-day non-compete so they are free and clear to go to any promotion they want on February 2nd, 2022. Those under NXT contracts have a 30-day non-compete with “their contractual freedom” starting on December 4th.
It was specifically noted that the belief is that Ember Moon falls under the 90-day non-compete because, despite returning to NXT, she was under a main roster contract.
There reportedly was a plan within WWE to repackage Karrion Kross for a third time as he had been pulled from WWE television by Vince McMahon because he had not gotten over, especially with his new look.
B-Fab was believed to have signed a new WWE contract just last week, which made her release surprising.
It was believed that an idea for Harry Smith was to make him a primary figure in NXT UK, but due to travel not opening up, they chose to keep him on the main roster instead. He worked one SmackDown dark match this past July, came down with COVID-19, and apparently told keep quiet about it.
Eva Marie was off WWE television due to filming a movie.
The moral within the company has to be extremely low. It is very apparent that no one person’s job is safe within the company. With more office staff now departing, it would appear that things internally on the corporate level are just as bad as the talent level.
