Raw races its way into the Cajundome in Lafayette, La., on Feb. 8 with one of WWE’s biggest fan/athletes, Carl Edwards. The Roush Fenway Racing driver will rev up Raw as a special guest host just six days before the NASCAR Sprint Cup season begins with the sport’s most-highly anticipated race, the Daytona 500. It’s also no secret Edwards and John Cena are close buddies. Their friendship first blossomed in 2007 when the racecar driver taught Cena how to drive a NASCAR stock car on the reality show, Fast Cars and Superstars ? The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race. Less than one year later, Cena starred in a Gillette Young Guns commercial with Edwards and several other NASCAR drivers.
