Big E is your new WWE Champion.
During Monday night’s live WWE Raw from TD Garden in Boston, MA Bobby Lashley retained the WWE Championship over Randy Orton. After Lashley’s successful title defense, Big E came out and cashed in his Money In the Bank title opportunity, and defeated Lashley in a match that lasted several minutes.
Bobby Lashley held the title for 195 days. He won it from The Miz back on the March 1, 2021 episode of Raw.
Below is an excerpt from Mike Tedesco’s Raw recap on how the title change came about.
Lashley takes Big E down and punches away at him. Big E gets away and chops blocks the knee. Big E goes for the Big Ending, but Lashley slides off and spears him down for a near fall. Lashley goes for a Dominator, but Big E gets out and hits the Big Ending for the win.
