Jersey All Pro Wrestling Promotions is proud to announce the first three matches for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Attack the East Coast this upcoming spring. The wrestling world will be buzzing on May 13th-15th when New Japan invades Rahway, NJ, New York City and Philadelphia, PA.
The first announced match will happen Friday May 13th at the Rahway Recreation Center, 275 East Milton Avenue, Rahway, New Jersey. It will be a tag team DREAM match. The two cornerstones of Jersey All Pro Wrestling return to the Rec Center as the Strong Style Thugz, “the Notorious 187” Homicide teams up with Low Ki to take on New Japan Pro Wrestling Legends, Jushin “Thunder” Liger and Tiger Mask IV. This will be a battle of respect and a battle of attrition.
The next night, this monumental tour continues in NYC at Basketball City on Pier 36 at South Street and FDR Drive. The first match announced pits two of the most intense and dedicated athletes to their craft: Prince Devitt v. Low Ki. Low Ki is no stranger to either Jersey All Pro Wrestling or New Japan. He is a former JAPW Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion, as well as former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. Prince Devitt currently holds the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, teaming with Ryusuke Taguchi. This match promises to embody what this weekend will be all about!
The final stop of this tour will be at the Asylum Arena, the former ECW Arena. The corner of Swanson and Ritner will once again see the best that professional wrestling has to offer. “The Man Beast” Rhino returns home to a place he knows so well and in an environment he knows so well. He will compete in a South Philly Street Fight against former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Toogi Makabe. This match promises to be pure physicality and guarantee excitement to the crowd in Philadelphia.
