In the final analysis, TNA Impact’s 2010 average cable rating dipped 7% from the program’s 2009 average rating of a 1.14, finishing the year at 1.06
Impact kicked off 2010 with a bang, scoring a 1.45 cable rating for the 1/4 live show featuring such surprises as Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair, Orlando Jordan, and the debut of WWE hall of famer Hulk Hogan. However, going head to head with Raw on Monday was a disastrous decision, as the show posted ratings of 1.0, 0.8, 0.86, 0.62, 0.9, 0.8, 0.95, 0.5, and 0.78, before Spike TV moved the show back to Thursday nights.

As noted previously, WWE’s television also dipped in 2010. Raw dropped 8% from the 2009 average. Friday Night Smackdown scored an average rating of 1.81 in 2010, down 6.7% from their 2009 average of 1.94.
