Legendary Pro Wrestling Trainer Dominic DeNucci has passed away

Per the Cauliflower Alley Club, Legendary pro wrestler and trainer Dominic DeNucci passed away yesterday at the age of 89.

No cause of death was made known.

DeNucci began his career in Montreal, Canada. He was best known as Dino Bravo’s tag team partner, under the ring name of Dominic Bravo. Together they competed as the Bravo Brothers.

He joined the WWWF/WWF in 1967, and went on to hold the WWWF International Tag Team Championships with Bruno Sammartino.

DeNucci later became a trainer in the WWF, where he spent 15 years. He left the WWF in 1982 to open his own wrestling school.

He trained professional wrestling stars such as Mick Foley and Shane Douglas.

Back in 2012, DeNucci was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
