10-Man Tag Team Elimination Match
“Hangman” Adam Page & The Dark Order (Stu Grayson, Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds) w/Colt Cabana, Alan Eagles & Pres10 Vance vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson, DOC Gallows & Karl Anderson) w/Don Callis, Brandon Cutler & Michael Nakazawa

Page and Dark Order get a beatufil video package to bring them out and then they all come out together with a special entrance with Page wearing Dark Order style gear and doing the Dark Order hand symbol. The Elite come out to the Space Jam theme and wearing “Tune Squad” gear and running through a Tune Squad banner. Page wants to start off with Omega but Omega backs down and Anderson starts out with The Elite Squad instead. A huge “Cowboy shit” chant erupts as Page runs over Anderson and connects with a Fall Away Slam.

Omega attacks Page from behind and The Elite beat on him in their corner until The Dark Order runs in and all hell breaks lose. The Bucks, Omega and Gallows try to quadruple suplex The Dark Order but they reverse it! Everyone spills to the outside as Reynolds climbs up top but Nick Jackson cuts him off only to get Superplexed on top of the pile on the outside! In the ring, Page goes back to work on Anderson before tagging Reynolds. The Elite corner Reynolds in their corenr and take turns with splashes and uppercuts in the corner.

Reynolds escapes a Splash from Gallows and then Dark Order comes in with splashes on Gallows in the corner after disposing of the rest of the Elite on the outside. Silver tosses Anderson into a series of strikes from Reynolds capped off with a German Suplex for two. Gallows swings and misses and Reynolds clotheslines him to the floor only for Anderson to roll him up and hold the tights to eliminate Reynolds.

The Dark Order takes turns striking Anderson and Uno and Grayson hit the Fatality on him to eliminate Anderson! Silver and Matt Jackson are in now and Silver tosses him clear across the ring.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Grayson goes for a Knightfall but Gallows blocks it only to eat a Pele Kick. Grayson goes up top and hits a 450 Splash as Uno hits a Cannonball on Jackson at the same time. Grayson gets a nearfall but Omega breaks it up. Silver hits a Reverse DDT on Omega butt eats a Superkick from Nick Jackson. Gallows hands everyone uppercuts but then gets sent to the outside by Grayson. Grayson hits a beautiful Corkscrew Asai Moonsault onto The Elite on the outside! Gallows and Grayson spill into the crowd as they brawl.

Grayson climbs on a balcony and dives off it with a Plancha onto Gallows. Both Gallows and Grayson were counted out. In the ring, Uno hits a Rana followed by a Backsplash Senton on Omega for two. Uno goes for a Senton Bomb but Omega gets his knees up and hits a V-Trigger followed by the One Winged Angel to eliminate Uno. Silver Spears Uno and goes after Nick Jackson, as well.

The Bucks double team Silver in their corner as Nick Jackson hits a Flying Knee followed by a Running Bulldog. Nick Jackson hits a Spinning Heel Kick as we go to another break.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Silver is a house afire destroying everyone in The Elite! He hits a Cowboy Kick on Nick Jackson and then an Airplane Spin for two! During the break, The Bucks Powerbombed Page on the apron. Silver kicks the piss out of Jackson and goes for a Brainbuster but he blocks it and shoves him into a V-Trigger from Omega. Nick hits a Superkick and Omega hits a German Suplex. Silver rolls to the outside and The Bucks set up a basketball goal at ringside and do an Indy Taker on Silver on the floor, while Nick tries to dunk the basket at the same time. He missed the dunk, so he grabs the ball and dunks it after as the fans chant “you still missed.” The Bucks drag Silver back in the ring and hit him with the BTE Trigger for the pin.

The Elite dare Page to get in the ring as he is all alone. Page and Omega get in each other’s face and Omega spits on him. They exchange strikes and Omega decimates him with the V-Trigger only to run right into a Roaring Elbow from Page. The Bucks hit a Double Superkick and a Snap Dragon from Omega! They hit a Triple Superkick Party! 1…2…NO Page kicks out!

Page’s lip is busted as Omega gets pissed that he kicked out. Omega and Matt Jackson hang Page in the ropes as Nick hits a Hanging 450 off the top for another nearfall. Omega goes for the V-Trigger but Page moves and then lands on his feet on German attempt. He clotheslines Omega and then hits a Double Clothesline on the Bucks. Page clotheslines The Bucks to the floor and hits a Golden Moonsault onto them all!

In the ring, Page goes for a Dead Eye on Omega but he blocks it and goes for a Powerbomb but Page blocks it, too. They exchange strikes but then Page catches Omega with a Pop-Up Powerbomb for two. Nick Jackson tags but eats a Cowboy Kick from Page. Page goes for the Buckshot Lariat but Jackson catches him and goes for a Metlzier Driver but Page bocks it and kicks Matt. He hits the Buckshot Lariat on both of the Bucks! Page pins Matt Jackson!

Omega tries to hit Page with the World Title but the referee takes it away and Omega grabs the Impact Title and swings it at Page only for him to catch Omega in the Dead Eye! 1…2…NO Omega kicks out! Page goes for the Buckshot Lariat but Nick grabs his leg. Page kicks him away and misses the Buckshot Lariat only to eat a belt shot. 1…2…NO Page kicks out! Omega hits a pair of V-Triggers and the One Winged Angel for the pin.

Winners: The Elite
(That match was awesome but a disappointing ending. It just doesn’t make sense for Page to not go over here. It’s clear where they are going for All Out, so why the swerve? It’s pointless. ****)

Alex Marvez interviews PAC backstage and he says an anonymous individual cancelled the Lucha Brothers’ car at the airport causing them to be stuck there. Chavo Guerrero Jr. walks up and says they heard about the LB car troubles and they had a limo sent for them. Andrade tells PAC to take care of his people or they will find someone who will.

Team Taz has a Jazz band for Ricky Starks’ celebration. Starks talks trash about Cage and says that when he broke his neck Cage didn’t even call to check on him. He says that’s when he realized Cage was a selfish guy and is someone he didn’t want to be around. He says Cage also didn’t know what teamwork was about or how to be a star. Starks says that even when they stood him next to Cage he couldn’t get an ounce of charisma to rub off on him.

Brian Cage comes out and beats him the band. He slams a bass drum on one of the guys’ heads. Cage grabs a trombone and breaks it before going after Starks. Starks and Hook retreat.

In a pre-tape, Hiroshi Tanahashi says he has never been U.S. Champion, so he’s going to challenge the winner of tonight’s title match!

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

FTR w/Tully Blanchard vs. Proud-n-Powerful w/Konnan

The two teams mat wrestle to open up until Dax and Santana begin teeing off on each other with strikes. Dax misses a clothesline and Santana hits the Three Amigos. Ortiz tags in and PNP hit a Double Suplex and then hit a Powerbomb combo with Santana on Cash as he charged at them. Santana hits the ropes but eats a Spinebuster Double-A style from Dax for two.

Ortiz hits a clothesline on Dax and makes the hot tag to Santana, who connects with a series of kicks and clotheslines on FTR. Santana hits a Side Slam and then Catapults Dax into the corner. Santana hits a gorgeous Somersault Plancha onto Cash on the floor! Santana goes to the top and misses a Frog Splash but Ortiz blind tags his partner and rolls Dax up for two. Ortiz then hits a Tope Suicida onto Cash on the floor as Dax kicked out!

Ortiz hits a Sunset Flip on Dax and then Santana kicks him in the face. Ortiz Powerbombs Dax and tags Santana, who then hits a Frog Splash for two. Santana hits a Corner Clothesline but Dax bounces back with one of his own only to eat a German Suplex from Santana! Dax gets fired up and hits a clothesline but walks into a Powerbomb from Ortiz. Cash comes in and hits a Tornado DDT on Ortiz! Cash goes for one on Santana but he blocks it and kicks Cash in the face. Santana hits a Powerbomb on Dax for a nearfall.

Ortiz tags in but walks into an inside cradle from Dax for two. Dax lifts Ortiz up to the top rope and he climbs up top. Dax goes for a Superplex but Santana pulls him off only to eat a DDT from Dax. Dax goes back up and hits a Superplex on Ortiz! Both men’s shoulders are down and both almost get pinned. Dax hits a Brainbuster for the pin. Cash has a bad cut on his arm and I’m not sure how it happened.

Winners: FTR via pinfall (Brainbuster)
(God, that match was so disappointing. Two amazing teams that should have put on a classic in their first match against one another. It completely fell apart late in the match. I’m not sure what happened but Ortiz looked like he was a bit loopy – maybe he cracked his head at some point – and Cash had a bad cut on his arm on the outside. **)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Tony Schiavone announces that the Aug. 20 episode of Rampage will be called “The First Dance” in Chicago. The fans start a massive “CM Punk” chant. Backstage, Darby Allin says he will be in Chicago and he says that he has been around a lot of men that have laid claim to being the greatest but there is only one place to prove that and that is in AEW. “Even if you think you’re the best in the world,” Allin says.

IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship
“The MurderHawk Monster” Lance Archer (c) w/Jake Roberts vs. Hikuleo w/King Haku

Archer and Hikuleo exchange strikes early on and Archer punches Hikelo in the corner but gets Powerbombed out of his boots for two. Hikuleo goes for a Fireman’s Carry but Archer escapes and hits a Forearm Smash. Archer hits the ropes but eats a Snap Powerslam from Hikuleo. Hikuleo clotheslines Archer over the top to the floor.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

During the break, Haku put Archer in the Tongan Death Grip and threw him into the barricade as Hikuleo distracted the referee. Archer makes a comeback and hits the New School Moonsault on Hikuleo. Archer lifts him up to the top and goes for the Blackout but Hikuleo blocks it. Archer kicks Hikuleo and goes up top and hits a Superplex! That was a gigantic ass Superplex that still only got two. Archer lifts Hikuleo back to the top and hits the Blackout for the pin.

Winner & STILL U.S. Champ: Archer via pinfall (Blackout)
(Hikuleo is still very green but this was okay for what it was, which was just a big hoss fight. **)

In the back, Marvez interviews Cody Rhodes. Malakai Black attacks Cody immediately and beats him down. They brawl onto the stage where Black hits a Flying Knee. A bunch of agents and wrestlers run out to try and stop Black, Fuego del Sol is one and he eats a Black Mass.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage, Miro says all of his challengers have suddenly dried up but says that he will fight regardless. Lee Johnson wants to challenge him and Miro accepts. Miro says that only two things motivate him, a vengeful God and a double-jointed wife.

Hardy Family Office (Isaiah Kassidy, Marq Quen & Angelico) w/Matt Hardy vs. Christian Cage & Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy) w/Marko Stunt

Christian and Angelico start things off and Angelico shows off his beautiful chain wrestling. Christian cuts the wrestling out and just smacks Angelico. He and Jungle Boy hit a Double Hip Toss on Angelico as Jungle Boy tags in. Jungle Boy hits a beautiful Springboard Lucha Armdrag and a dropkick. Angelico grabs Jungle Boy’s tights and throws him to the floor where Kassidy slams him into the barricade. Hardy hits Jungle Boy and Christian chases Hardy up the ramp.

Private Party and Angelico triple team Jungle Boy in their corner. Private Party attempts a Poetry In Motion out of the Hardyz black book but Jungle Boy moves and tags Lucha. Lucha tosses all the HFO members around and stacks them up in the corner. Lucha hits a Triple German Suplex on all three of them! Lucha goes for a Double Chokeslam on Private Party but they backflip out of it and hit a Double Superkick.

Jungle Boy hits a Lariat on Kassidy and then hits a Somersault Plancha on Kassidy and Angelico on the floor. Lucha Chokeslams Quen and Christian hits the Frog Splash for the pin.

Winners: Jurassic Express and Christian via pinfall (Frog Splash)
(That was fine but again nothing special. They are pushing very hard for Christian to challenge for the World Title. **)

Blade comes out from the crowd and knocks Christian out with a pair of brass knucks.

A video package highlights Nick Gage’s violent career.

Julia Hart w/The Varsity Blonds vs. Thunder Rosa

Rosa gets a huge “Thunder Rosa” chant as she works Hart over with a side headlock. Hart counters with a headscissors but Rosa escapes takes Hart down again with a headlock. Rosa hits the ropes and rolls Hart up for two. Rosa and Hart exchange pin attempts and Rosa takes her down and puts her in an Ankle Lock.

Hart gets to the ropes to break the hold but Rosa continues to work her over with chops and slaps. Rosa hits a Running Clothesline in the corner followed by a Knee Drop from the top in the corner. Rosa trips Hart and puts her in a Kneebar but Hart again gets to the ropes. Rosa slams Hart into the corner and hits a Hesitation Dropkick. Rosa hits the Fire Thunder Driver for the pin.

Winner: Rosa via pinfall (Fire Thunder Driver)
(This was a glorified squash. *)

Jon Moxley accuses Tanahashi of ducking him and now suddenly once he loses the U.S. Title he wants to show his face in AEW. Moxley has issued a bunch of challenges to NJPW wrestlers and says maybe Tanahashi is the only smart one for ducking him.

The Five Labors of Jericho Ch. 2
No Rules Match
“The Painmaker” Chris Jericho vs. “The King of the Death Match” Nick Gage

MJF comes out to join commentary for this match and eating popcorn. Gage immediately comes after Jericho with a damn pizza cuter and cuts Jericho’s arm. Jericho and Gage start punching each other and Gage hits a Spinebuster. Gage hits a Facewash on Jericho in the corner and Jericho rolls to the floor where Gage follows him. Gage headbutts Jericho and opens up hi s own head. Jericho throws Gage into the barricade and then back in the ring.

Jericho goes up top but Gage crotches him and hits a Superplex and floats over into a Falcon Arrow for two. Gage goes for another Facewash but Jericho trips him and locks in the Walls of Jericho. Gage uses the ropes to drag himself to the floor to break the hold. Jericho follows Gage out but Gage throws him into the ring post. Gage pulls out a couple of light tubes and Jericho pulls out a bat.

Gage tries to hit Jericho with a light tube but Jericho hits him with his bat repeatedly. Jericho’s head is also busted open. Gage catches Jericho in a Choke Breaker and then he pulls out his damn pizza cutter again. Gage rakes the freaking pizza cutter across Jericho’s face and he is bleeding all over the place.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

During the break Gage continues to beat the hell out of Jericho with a chair and then he lays a pane of glass across two chairs. He drags Jericho UNDER the glass and climbs up top. Jericho crotches Gage and hits a Frankensteiner sending Gage’s ass through the damn glass! 1…2…NO Gage kicks out!

Jericho hits Gage with a chair and attempts the Codebreaker but Gage blocks it and slams Jericho onto the broken glass. Gage breaks a light tube across Jericho’s back and then smashes one over his head! Gage hits a Piledriver onto the glass! 1…2…NO Jericho kicks out! Gage gets pissed off and gets in the referee’s face.

Gage breaks another light tube and uses it to further carve Jericho’s head up. Gage pulls out another two stacks of light tubes but Jericho spits mist in Gage’s face. Jericho breaks a stack of tubes over Gage’s head and hits the Judas Effect for the pin!

Winner: Jericho via pinfall (Judas Effect)
(That match was absolute insanity, much like last week. Kudos to Jericho for being willing to put his body through complete hell, especially at this age. ****)

MJF is pissed off and says that Labor No. 3 will be a match where Jericho has to hit a move off the top rope to win. His challenger? JUVENTUD GUERRERA! Back in 1998, Jericho took Juventud’s mask and now Juvi gets to try and extinguish Jericho’s opportunity to get a rematch with MJF.
