It’s time once again for your weekly ROH on HDNet recap! So, sit back, relax, open up a brew or a pop, and get ready for some RING OF HONOR WRESTLING!
Here’s how things went down this week:
-The show started off with Jim Cornette doing an interview with Davey Richards. Richards cut a promo on his match with Roderick Strong at Final Battle. Richards also mentioned that when he teams up with Eddie Edwards for the last time on Dec. 17th, the American Wolves will never die! Both men are pursuing singles career goals. After a great promo, Truth Martini and ROH World Champion Roderick Strong come out and Strong tells Richards that he’s gonna loose at Final Battle and asks him how he’s gonna feel to let down the ROH fans and his dead grandfather! After that was said, Richards goes nuts and chases Strong and Martini out of the ring. This is gonna be a great match this Saturday in New York!
-We cut to Hogewood and Prazak giving the run down of tonight’s matches and they hype the events in ROH this week. First, they are in Plymouth, MA for a show on Friday the 17th, then the iPPV FINAL BATTLE! (to order Final Battle go to www.gofightlive.tv)
-COMMERCIAL-
-A video is shown of the events leading up to the Daizee Haze and Sara Del Rey feud. Both women give interviews on the match at Final Battle. Just so everyone is aware, the match at Final Battle is a tag match. It will be DAIZEE HAZE & AWESOME KONG vs. SARA DEL REY & former WWE Diva/Straight Edge Society member….SERENA DEEB!

-Backstage interview with Mark, Jay, and Papa Briscoe on their match at Final Battle against the Kings of Wrestling and Shane Hagadorn. I can’t wait to see Papa Briscoe get his hands on Shane Hagadorn! MAN UP!!!
KEVIN STEEN def. KOREY CHAVIS (DARK CITY FIGHT CLUB)
-A really great video is shown of the year long feud between Steen and Generico. This is a great feud and it will all end this Saturday at Final Battle!

FINAL THOUGHTS
Tonight’s show was a great way to kick off the week leading to ROH’s last ppv of the year, Final Battle. In my many many years of watching this sport, I have to say that tonight’s ROH show was a great go home show to Final Battle. If you are a fan of ROH and indy wrestling, I highly encourage you all to spend $15 on this show! The down fall to Final Battle is that its gonna be shown over the internet, but for what it cost you, its all worth it. So, lets run down FINAL BATTLE and I’ll give you all my predictions for the upcoming ppv this Saturday:
-The women tag match, in my opinion, is gonna probably be the weakest match of the night. However, I am looking forward to seeing Serena Deeb and Awesome Kong back in ROH in a match. If I had to lay money on this match, I am gonna have to pick Daizee Haze and Awesome Kong to come out with the victory.
-The ROH TV Title Match, I gotta go with my boy Eddie Edwards to retain. Not too familiar with Kenny Omega, but I just don’t see Eddie Edwards loosing the title at the ppv.
-The 6-man tag match is one of the matches that I’m most looking forward to. I love how ROH twisted this story line and threw in Hagadorn and Papa Briscoe in the match. I’m a huge fan of the Briscoes, so there’s no doubt whom I’m picking to win this battle….THE BRISCOES! I really hope that those assholes known as the Kings of Wrestling, walk away in this match in a bloody mess! Oh, and Shane Hagadorn I hope leaves on a stretcher after Papa Briscoe whoops that ass! This match will be a must see!
-In the other MUST SEE match of the night, we find ourselves seeing the ROH version of CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio in a match that will determine if Steen leaves or if Generico gets unmasked. This feud is just a great dark storyline that has kept me on my toes for the past several months. The wrestling world just doesn’t have many good characters like Kevin Steen and El Generico. This match on Saturday is gonna be fast, bloody, and brutal! If I was a betting man, my money would have to go with Generico winning this contest and seeing Steen leave ROH and pursue better career in TNA or even WWE! This match is the one I’m really looking forward to seeing!
-There is no question who I believe will walk out of New York on Saturday as the ROH World Champion and that man is Davey Richards! I don’t know how many times I have to tell all of you how much I despise Roderick Strong and Truth Martini! I hope that on Saturday that Truth Martini doesn’t interfere in the match! Davey Richards is by far the best wrestler on the planet. I see no reason why he can’t beat Strong and walk away as the new ROH Champion! Roderick Strong will loose this match!
