TNA President Dixie Carter spoke on the phone recently with Christopher Nowinski of the Sports Legacy Institute and is now becoming a big proponent of taking care of wrestlers. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Carter now wants to tone down on blows to the head and wouldn’t allow Ken Anderson to wrestle on weekend house shows where he was scheduled to make his return to the ring. Nowinski added, “Based on our conversation and from feedback from some TNA wrestlers, I do think TNA and Ms. Carter are taking a more active role on the concussion issue and I hope to see the trend continue.”
