According to a recent report by The Hollywood Reporter, NBCUniversal is busy reviewing all 17,000 hours of WWE content to ensure it aligns with Peacock’s standards and practices.
It is also being said that WWE is also being made aware of any changes made.
The Hollywood Reporter notes in their report that one of the most recent edits was from WrestleMania 6, which had a match between Roddy Piper and Bad News Brown. Piper had painted his face half black. In the pre-match interview, Piper said “I hear Bad News Brown, how he’s talking about Harlem, and how he’s proud to be from Harlem…” “Now I can stand here, and I can be Black! I can be white! Don’t make no difference to me … it’s what’s inside.”
Peacock expects to have all WWE footage available on its streaming service by SummerSlam.

Hey #Peacock if you wanted to edit out any of my dancing gimmick from 2003, that’d be okay.
