Rusty Brooks has reportedly passed away

According to PWInsider Rusty Brooks (real name Kurt Koski), who wrestled for a number of promotions over the course of his career has passed away at age 63.

The report notes that Brooks recently had undergone surgery a few weeks ago and had also been dealing with some health issues.  

Brooks was a fixture on WWF television in the 1980’s as an enhancement talent working as a heel against babyfaces such as Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Ricky Steamboat, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and The Junkyard Dog.

Brooks was initially trained by Boris Malenko and Jim Isler and worked a number of different areas including Championship Wrestling from Florida and IWCCW, where he wrestled as Super Duper Mario.

In the state of Florida, Brooks was a wrestler and later a trainer.  He trained notable names such as Gangrel, Norman Smiley, the late Luna Vachon, MVP and Konnor of The Ascension.  

As of this report, there is no cause of death.
