AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: January 20, 2021

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for January 22, 2021 are now in. 

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 854,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s New Year’s Smash Night 2 that drew 762,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 33 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, which is down from No. 31 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 551,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is down from last week’s show that averaged 551,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 67 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 70 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the “Wednesday Night War” by 303,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, headlined by Fight Pit II, averaged a 0.15 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.14 rating they had last week. 

AEW Dynamite, which was headlined by an Inner Circle 3-Way Match, averaged a 0.36 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.30 rating they had last week.
