According to PWInsider, WWE has signed former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion and Full Impact Pro Champion Anthony Henry. It is being said that he will be making his way to train at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in advance of his eventual WWE NXT debut.
Henry, 36, has been one of the central performers from the North Carolina independent wrestling scene in recent years.
Besides EVOLVE and Full Impact Pro, he has appeared for Premiere Wrestling Xperience and Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment.
Henry finished up with Premiere Wrestling Xperience (PWX) over the weekend and posted his farewell statement on Twitter. PWX also posted a statement as well.
With that being said, I am extremely proud of my matches last night, especially the last fight with @RealJDDrake. Once it drops, please go watch it. We left all out in the ring. https://t.co/uSUYgQeiu2
