AEW has announced that former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will return to Dynamite next week for New Year’s Smash Night One, which will air live December 30 on TNT which begins at 8:00 pm ET.
Moxley has been off AEW television since he lost the AEW World Champion to Kenny Omega with help from IMPACT Executive VP Don Callis on the December 2 “Winter is Coming” episode of Dynamite.
Also announced for New Year’s Eve Smash Night One are the following matches:
– AEW World Championship Match: Kenny Omega defends against Rey Fenix.
– AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Hikaru Shida defends against Abadon.
Inner Circle members Jake Hager and Wardlow will square off.
Chris Jericho will be a guest commentator.
