AEW announced Tuesday that Matt Sydal has officially signed with the promotion.
Sydal made his AEW debut at the All Out pay-per-view where he was a surprise entrant in the Casino Battle Royale.
Sydal appeared in WWE as Evan Bourne. He has also wrestled in Ring of Honor, IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling under his real name.
He has held various championships, including the WWE Tag Team Championship with Kofi Kingston the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship with Christopher Daniels, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship twice with Ricochet, and the NEVER Open Weight 6-Man Tag Team Championship, and the IMPACT X-Division Championship.
