WWE filed for several trademarks on November 3 and 4.
— Slamboree
— The Match Beyond
— Bunkhouse Stampede
— Battlebowl
— Superbrawl
— Bash at the Beach
— Candy Floss
— August Grey
AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes had previously applied to trademark Slamboree, The Match Beyond, Bunkhouse Stampede, Battlebowl, and Superbrawl, but abandoned the filings. Cody spent several months going for Bash at the Beach, but it was deemed to be confusing with WWE’s trademark of “The Bash.”
AEW produced two episodes of Dynamite this past January under the “Bash at the Beach” theme. The event will now be known as “Beach Break.”
Candy Floss is currently wrestling on NXT UK. August Grey was known as Anthony Greene and was part of the Thatch-As-Thatch-Can segments on WWE NXT.
