Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov def. The Uso’s W/Tamina Via Iron Curtain
Tonight’s show kicked off with a tag team contest from Raw featuring the Uso’s and the Comedy duo of Santino and Kozlov. Santino and Jey started the match off with Santino doing his normal comedy routine. Kozlov got the tag to make the match serious and was caught in a double team attack by the Uso’s. Santino got back into the ring and also fell to the double team attack but was able to kick out of a pin attempt. In the end Santino was able to get Kozlov back into the match who was able to run through Jimmy Uso with the Iron Curtain to win the match.
The Great Khali def. Primo W/ AJ Via Punjabi Plunge
In the second match from the Raw brand NXT pro Primo with his NXT Rookie AJ with him at ringside took on the 7 foot Punjabi Playboy, The Great Khali. Primo started the match trying to use his speed but was caught quickly and sent into the corner. Primo was able to duck out of a chop attempt by Khali and get out of the ring to consult with his rookie. Primo was able to sneak back into the ring and attempted to gain control on Khali but the big man was able to get him off and land a big clothesline. In the end it was all academic after that and Khali got Promo up for the Punjabi Plunge for the 1,2,3.
Main Event: MVP def. Luke Gallows Via The Playmaker
The main event for this evening came from the Smackdown brand with former US Champion MVP taking on S.E.S member Luke Gallows. The match opened up with the two superstars fighting for control but it was MVP’s big boot that gave him the early advantage. MVP attempted to keep control but Gallows was able to connect with his own big boot to take over. Gallows attempted to have fun and go for the “Ballin” elbow drop but missed giving MVP a chance to make a comeback. In the end MVP was able to connect with the Playmaker to defeat the big man to close the show.
