The WWE ThunderDome registration for Friday Night SmackDown opened up yesterday, which was quickly filled up to capacity. Fans registering for the event were given the following rules for the event:
– No sharing the link with anyone else.
– Be respectful.
– No smoking.
– No making any political statements or endorsements.
– No being offensive or violent.
– No disparaging WWE or its talent/sponsors.
– No promoting third-party brands.
“No one in your household should be using your internet connection for other streaming purposes during your participation (e.g. streaming services like Twitch, Netflix, YouTube etc.) We reserve the right to terminate or refuse participation in the WWE ThunderDome if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the video or audio connection to the WWE ThunderDome is unclear or unstable.”
Longtime Wrestleview reader Billy Heffner will be “in attendance” for SmackDown this Friday and was told by the company to be online at 7:15 p.m. Eastern.
WWE to test run the ThunderDome tomorrow
According to PWInsider, WWE sent out invitations to members of their mailing list to offer them a chance to take part in a live test of the WWE ThunderDome tomorrow, August 20.
The fans that signed up will have a match presented to them to test the ThunderDome experience. It is not known if the match will be live or one that has already aired.
The test is scheduled to take place at 5:15 p.m. If you have signed up for that test run, please email us how it went to mike@wrestleview.com.
