Ring of Honor announced on Twitter that next week’s Ring of Honor Wrestling television show will be a very special tribute episode celebrating the career of Hana Kimura.
The special tribute episode will look back at Hana’s ROH matches, her G1 Supercard match at Madison Square Garden. In addition, the stars of ROH will share their favorite memories of Hana.
Hana Kimura, who was one of the top stars of the all-women’s promotion Stardom in Japan, passed away this past May at the age of 22.
Kimura had been the target of cyberbullying from around the world. Appearing on a reality show “Terrance House.” During an episode, she got upset with one of the housemates who ruined her wrestling gear in the laundry. She hit the housemate and yelled at him. Since the incident, she has been targeted online by cyberbullies leading to depression.
