AEW announced on last night’s episode of Dynamite that Fyter Fest will be held over two nights on July 1 and July 8 on TNT.
AEW Fyter Fest, 2 nights on @tntdrama! I’m excited to bring Fyter to @AEWonTNT on July 1 + July 8. Thank you to all of the great fans who’ve supported our pay-per-view shows and #AEWDynamite every Wednesday night! This one’s on the house! Or these two rather.
— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) June 4, 2020
The dates fall on Wednesdays, meaning they will air in Dynamite’s usual spot as a special show, similar to what the company did with Bash at the Beach and were planning on doing with Blood and Guts in March before the COVID-19 pandemic interfered with those plans.
In 2019, Fyter Fest aired for free on the B/R App.
AEW President Tony Khan previously stated on a media call that the original plan for Fyter Fest was to have the show in London, but the pandemic prevented that from happening.
Here is the updated card for Fyter Fest:
AEW World Championship
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brian Cage
AEW World Tag Team Championship
Kenny Omega and Hangman Page (c’s) vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent)
