PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER CHRISTOPHER DANIELS TO BE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS AND CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS AT SAN DIEGO COMIC COM
Los Angeles, CA, July 20, 2010 — Pro Wrestler Christopher Daniels, one of the top independent wrestlers in the world and currently one the top stars of Ring of Honor (ROH), will be attending the San Diego Comic Convention on July 22-25 and taking part in some special signings and interviewing participants and attendees as well. Chris will be at the Haven Distributors booth (Booth 1901) on Thursday from 1-3 pm and Sunday 11 am-1 pm, with Headlocked creator Mike Kingston to co-sign the Headlocked trade paperback, collecting Headlocked: The Tryout #1-3 and Headlocked: Work Of Art and featuring an introduction written by Chris.
On Friday, Chris will join acclaimed artist Josh Adams (www.whatwouldjoshdo.com) at Booth 1829 from 4-7 pm to co-sign Josh’s limited edition print featuring Chris in action.
In addition, Chris will be involved with GeekWeek Online’s coverage of the event throughout, and he will be attending the special Thursday night event at the Industry Showroom at 345 6th Avenue from 7:30pm-11:55 pm supporting the release of the Threadless Comics-on Tees t-shirt collection and conducting interviews at select booths, including Profiles in History (Booth 1605), the world’s leading auctioneer of Hollywood memorabilia.
Profiles in History, along with Stan Winston Studios, will be to hosting a 5-day tribute to visual effects genius Stan Winston, featuring the Mark I, Mark II and Mark III armor suits—Iron Man armor from Iron Man and Iron Man 2, worn by Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark, and the 14 foot Iron Monger armor suit worn by Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane in Iron Man and the 14 foot AMP (Amplified Mobility Platform) Suit worn by Stephen Lang in Avatar. Fans will be free to take pictures with these enormous iconic creations, meet Matt Winston, actor and son of Stan Winston.
Daniels is one of the most in-demand pro wrestling stars in the world. Prior to his work with Ring of Honor, Daniels was a mainstay on TNA Impact on Spike TV. In addition to Ring of Honor and TNA, Chris has worked for every major pro wrestling organization including WWE, WCW, ECW and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
