WFLA News Channel 8 in Tampa, Florida is featuring a story with WWE Superstar John Cena surprising 7-year old David Castle at his Odessa home.
According to the story, Castle, who turns 8-years old on May 10, is currently battling Wilms tumor, which is a type of childhood cancer that stars in the kidney’s.
Tammy Miller, Castle’s mom said that Cena brought two WWE Title Belts, signed T-shirts, a signed program, signed bobblehead, hat and some of his arm bands, and lots of of other goodies
Miller said her son was filled with excitement and had tears of joy when he saw one of his favorite WWE Superstars.
Castle was diagnosed with Wilms tumor on October 25, 2019. He has already undergone very painful tests, surgery that included long days and nights in the hospital. He still has several months of radiation and chemotherapy ahead of him.
Cena’s surprise visit was made possible my local officials with the Pasco County Fire Rescue.
The family has a GoFundMe page set up to help with Castle’s medical expenses.
