WWE NXT is airing tonight from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida with essential personnel only.
Scheduled for tonight’s show is the return of Finn Bálor to action. Bálor will take on Fabian Aichner of NXT UK’s Imperium. We will also see the beginning of the NXT Cruiserweight Championship Tournament. The tournament will be conducted in a round robin format with two groups consisting of four people each.
Also scheduled for tonight is NXT Champion Adam Cole inviting the Velveteen Dream for a chat. NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will also make an appearance after calling out the new No. 1 Contender Io Shirai on Raw. We will also see Matt Riddle and a mystery partner defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong of the Undisputed ERA. Riddle’s partner, Pete Dunne, is in the United Kingdom and unable to travel to the United States due to travel restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
