WWE Hall of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong is battling bone cancer according to his son, Scott Armstrong.
Scott Armstrong revealed on Twitter that his father, Bob, has bone cancer in his ribs, shoulder, and prostate. “Bullet” Bob has decided not to pursue treatment for the cancer, but is still healthy enough to workout. It is not known how advanced the cancer is.
Bob Armstrong has competed in six different decades and is the father of four sons that all went into wrestling: Brad and Steve competed in WCW, Brian is better known as the Road Dogg, and Scott also served as a wrestler and a referee.
On behalf of the staff of Wrestleview, we’d like to extend our best wishes to “Bullet” Bob Armstrong as he battles cancer.
Today my 80yr old Dad, @WWE Hall of Famer Bullet Bob, asked if he could come over to get a workout! He’s got bone cancer in his ribs, shoulder and prostate and chose not to go through any treatment (his choice)! I put 30lbs on there and he said, “Gimme 100lbs!!! #Motivation 😎 pic.twitter.com/yhfda0AGqA
