Cody Rhodes posted to Instagram Friday that he suffered a small fracture in his big toe after his moonsault from the top of the steel cage on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite that aired live from Atlanta.
Cody said he’s on a treatment plan and is cleared for in-ring action.
AEW followed up with a post to Twitter stating that Cody is cleared, but for “action as tolerated.”
AEW’s Doctor, Michael Sampson then followed with his on post on Twitter saying that “With a moonsalt off the top of the steel cage there could have been worse injuries.”
MJF, who is Cody’s scheduled opponent at next Saturday’s Revolution Pay-Per View responded on Twitter to Cody’s injury with a an emoji of two eyes.
