New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the promotion is returning to Madison Square Garden in New York City for an event called Wrestle Dynasty that will take place on Saturday August 22.
It should be be noted that NJPW’s Wrestle Dynasty will take place on the same day as WWE NXT TakeOver: Boston, which will be held at TD Garden.
In addition to TakeOver taking place at TD Garden, the venue will also host Friday Night SmackDown on August 21, the SummerSlam Pay-Per View on August 23, and Monday Night Raw on August 24.
NJPW has not yet revealed ticket information for the event. However, the promotion did release a english-language video and an announcement on their english-language website.
NJPW and ROH held the G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden on the during last year’s WrestleMania weekend.
