AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for January 15, 2020 are now in.
AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 940,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.
This is slightly down from last week’s show that drew an average of 947,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 5 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 6 where they placed last week.
This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 700,000 viewers on Wednesday night.
This is down from last week’s show that averaged 721,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 31 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 55 where they placed last week. This puts NXT back in the Top 50 cable programs for Wednesday after having dropped off the list two weeks in a row.
In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the third head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 240,000 viewers.
Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT
NXT, which featured a Battle Royal, averaged a 0.21 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.19 rating.
AEW Dynamite, headlined by PAC vs. Darby Allin, averaged a 0.38 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.36 rating.
