WWE Backstage Analyst CM Punk made comments on Twitter regarding Kevin Owens doing a flip off the top rope and landing outside the ring onto security on the floor.
Punk included the clip with Owens, then commented with “Can we stop with the giant group of people standing around looking to catch someone while someone jumps on them?”
He then went on to say “Leave that sh— in this decade. Dare ya.”
Punk also said in a separate Twitter post stating that “WWE needs to hire people who actually understand what representation means to the audience they’re trying to reach.”
He then went on to say “But what do I know? I’m a bear, I suck the heads off fish.”
Based on some of the Twitter posts from fans, it is assumed that Punk could be referring to the Lana-Liv Morgan romance angle during the Lana/Lashley wedding segment.
CM Punk will return to WWE Backstage on the January 21, 2020 episode on FS1.
