They said it couldnt be done. That it would never last more then a few shows much less one full year! Well RCW proved everyone wrong and has brought the best action to the state of Maryland. Real Championship Wrestling has made everyone else step up there game and over the past year have brought Maryland some of the best INDY talent around. Names like The Briscoe Brothers, Jerry Lynn, Sonjay Dutt, and Homicide are just a few of the names that have called RCW home! Well on June 5th, RCW presents The Takeover 2!

6/1- CWE set to play ball with TRCW.
Canadian Wrestling’s Elite is set to play ball with one of Manitoba’s
most storied professional wrestling companies in the history of the
province on June 12th! Top Rope Championship Wrestling was considered
Winnipeg’s top independent organization from 2000-2002 and ran more
shows throughout the province than any other at the time. Once a year
TRCW returns apart of the Kildonan Coed Softball League Tournament and
presents a free evening of live professional wrestling action. This
year CWE will take part in the festivities to promote its upcoming
July 10th event featuring former WWF Tag Team champions The New Age
Outlaws by presenting a few matches on the event. Scheduled to appear
on behalf of CWE,

MAIN EVENT: ABSOLUTION 5 MAIN EVENT PREVIEW: JOHNNY GARGANO & TOMMY MERCER VS. FACADE & STERLING JAMES KEENAN
With the controversy that ended GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 5, four men made claim for the AIW Absolute Title. Johnny Gargano, Tommy Mercer, Sterling James Keenan and Facade all claim they actually were the winner. With no other choice, a 4-Way match was made for ABSOLUTION 5 for the title. All four men will have a chance to get into the ring with each other before Absolution. Tensions are running high on both teams. Will the teams get along long enough to win this preview tag match? There are many dynamics in this match, Facade and Gargano’s long personal feud, SJK holding a victory over Gargano and Tommy Mercer being the unknown equation as being new, he’s been untested. Needless to say, this match will give everybody a big idea of who will be leaving as Absolute Champ at ABSOLUTION 5.
AIW WOMANS DIVISION ATTRACTION MATCH: ANGEL DUST VS. ALLYSIN KAY
Since AIW created it’s women’s division at ABSOLUTION 3, many talented female competitors have appeared in the AIW ring. At JACK OF ALL TRIOS, AIW two more made their debut. While both came up on the losing end, as Allysin lost to Jessika Havoc and Angel Dust lost to “Self Proclaimed AIW Women’s Champ” Jefferson Saint, both impressed AIW Management and it’s fans. Allysin Kay and Angel Dust are both looking at FROM DUSK TIL DAWN to secure their first victory and move towards the AIW Women’s Title, regardless of it’s current limbo. Who will leave and move onto bigger goals in Absolute Intense Wrestling?
CHRIS DICKINSON DEFENDS HIS INTENSE TITLE AGAINST JONNY MANGUE!
With his undefeated streak in AIW including such names as the Necro Butcher, Gran Akuma and Facade, Chris Dickinson is walking into FROM DUST TIL DAWN This isn’t anything new for Dickinson. Chris Dickinson is on a steak that few in AIW history have accomplished, and regardless if you love or hate him, and he has a lot of both, the stats speak for themselves. Since his debut in AIW, Dickinson has gone 5-0 with no signs of letting up. That was until AIW announced he’s facing one of his best friends, Jonny Mangue! Jonny who made his debut at Gauntlet For The Gold 5, trained and grew up with Chris Dickinson. Could a man who knows everything about Dickinson and his past be able to finally dethrone him? Mangue who was highly impressive in the Jack Of All Trios tournament isn’t the open book that Dickinson is. Mangue’s skills and move sets have just been briefly touched upon in AIW. Will he finally be the person to win the Intense Title from Dickinson? Needless to say, whoever leaves as Intense Champ will have to withstand a war.
SHIIMA XION FACES MARION FONTAINE!
With Psycho Sexual Panic of Shiima Xion and Facade still trying to find their footing as a faction, this match is very important. Shiima Xion needs a victory to keep PSP relevant in the eyes of AIW and it’s fans and also to keep himself in title contention. Shiima who once held the AIW Tag Titles, has never held a AIW singles title. Meanwhile, Marion Fontaine who’s had some impressive victories in recent times is looking to do what he’s also never done in AIW, which is hold a title. Both men are right at the edge of finally reaching their goals. This match is going to determine a lot. Who will get closer to their goal?
THE OLSEN TWINS REUNITE?!?!?
A few years back, a tag team dominated Chikara, UWA Hardcore, CZW, and much more. Under The Olsen Twin banner, Colin and Jimmy were that team. Signing with WWE’s version of ECW, Colin Olsen became Colin Delaney. After his WWE Release, Colin returned to Chikara but Colin Olsen was no more and he turned his back on Jimmy. Since then, Colin Delaney and Jimmy Olsen haven’t spoken. Strangely, AIW has announced that The Olsen Twins are reuniting at this event. Have Jimmy and Colin worked out their issues? Will they reunite to make a run at the AIW Tag Titles?
THE YOUNG STUDS DEFEND THE AIW TAG TITLES AGAINST AEROFORM!
After cheating their way thru multiple times thru title defenses against Aeroform, Aeroform finally got the comeuppance at JACK OF ALL TRIOS when Team Oreo of Aeroform and Johnny Gargano beat The Young Studs. However, it wasn’t for the AIW Tag Titles. Thus, this match was signed and it’s Aeroform’s chance to finally win AIW Titles. Will the Young Studs under Agent Aaron Bauer cheat to win as usual? Or will Aeroform finally fullfill their destiny and hold the AIW Tag Titles?
DA LATIN CRIME SYNDICATE BATTLE TEAM BEYOND!
With their impressive matches at TEAM BEYOND was booked at EVOLVE and gained other high profile attention. This left the Da Latin Crime Syndicate stuck in Ohio and bitter they have been overlooked. Da Latin Crime Syndicate have made this challenge to prove not only they are the best teams in AIW, but all of professional wrestling. They want to punish Team Beyond for their success as much as succeed on their own. Whoever wins will likely be moved up in AIW Tag Title contention.
