According to a new report from WEAR-TV ABC 3 in Pensacola, Florida, after only an hour of deliberation on Wednesday, a Florida jury in an Escambia County courtroom found current WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) not guilty of a DUI charge.
Uso was arrested back in July for driving under the influence near Pensacola, Florida.
This was Fatu’s third arrest for driving under the influence.
Jimmy was pulled over after a police officer noticed him driving erratically and swerving left and right. The officer also noted that Jimmy “reeked of booze.” The officer attempted to administer a DUI test, but Jimmy refused.
We had further reported that according to the police report, at 1:30 am local time a deputy was dispatched out the area of Pine Forest and Nine Mile Road in reference to a possible DUI complaint.
The deputy was advised by an off-duty officer that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 10 in an excess of a 100 mph – drifting from left to right and going out of its lane. The vehicle drove into the parking lot of the Ticket Sports Bar. When the deputy arrived at the scene, the car was gone.
The deputy was parked at Publix when he saw a vehicle turn from Pine Forest Road onto Highway 297A, rapidly accelerating and almost hitting another vehicle. Fatu’s vehicle speed was clocked at 86 mph (the speed limit is 45 mph).
This was Uso’s second arrest of 2019, as he and wife Naomi (Trinity Fatu) were pulled over in Detroit, MI and he was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction. His wife, Trinity Fatu (Naomi), was pulled over after driving the wrong way down a one-way street. Jimmy got out of the car and attempted to fight with the police officers.
The arresting officer noted the car smelled of alcohol. He later pleaded no contest and paid $450 in fines.
The Uso’s have been off WWE television since this past summer.
TMZ Sports later released police video footage of Uso’s arrest. Uso hit speeds of up to 86 mph at one point, which was 41 mph over the speed limit.
