IMPACT Wrestling announced on their website Wednesday (view below) that the company has released Killer Kross (Kevin Kesar) from his contract.
Killer Kross Released
IMPACT Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Kevin Kesar (Killer Kross).
Kross made his debut with IMPACT in June 2018.
Kross had approached IMPACT Management looking for a new contract that was said to be in the range of six figures. IMPACT Management then had made Kross a counter offer. However, Kross was unhappy with the offer, and thus asked for his release.
According to F4WOnline, Kross’ contract was set to expire this month, but IMPACT had the option of rolling the contract over another year.
He was last seen on TV back in July at the company’s Slammiversary pay-per-view losing to Eddie Edwards in a First Blood Match. He has continued to work independent dates.
Kross recently worked Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s Guerra de Titanes event back on December 14.
Since being off IMPACT television, Kross has been vocal on social media and other media outlets regarding his issues with IMPACT and stating how he has wanted his release from the company.
It should be noted that Kross’ real-life girlfriend and former IMPACT Knockout Scarlett Bordeaux who is now going by her real name of Elizabeth Chihaia, is signed to a WWE Performance Center contract.
Following the announcement of his release, Kross posted a clip on Twitter taken from his from his YouTube Channel entitled “Chapter Zero” which includes clips from various pro wrestling promotions which includes AEW, WWE and NJPW.
