Transition from XPW & Wrestling Society X to Viva La Lucha: “I’ve been studying the wrestling since I was 16 years old, and even before & after XPW, I’ve always been a fan of Lucha. You can’t really be part of the pro wrestling scene and not take into account Lucha Libre. When you look at who’s drawing & the houses that are drawn in not just L.A., but also Las Vegas & around the country, it has been shows headlined by Luchas. For the people like you & me (referring to the mainstream media, journalists, & those within the business) who focus on the WWE & TNA, a lot of those shows, facts, & figures get lost in the shuffle, because a lot of the mainstream sites don’t cover Lucha. Our goal is to bring Lucha to the mainstream without turning off the tradition Spanish audience, but providing a different take on Lucha to keep the eyes of the tradition wrestling fan into & with the Pay-Per-View; you’re going to see that.”
For more information on Viva La Lucha’s Revolution, call your local cable or satellite provider for availability, or log onto http://www.VivaLaLucha.com & http://www.MaskedRepublic.com for details on the entire Pay-Per-View lineup (which will feature the return of “the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal, death-defying manic” Sabu). Mark your calendars fans, as the first-ever HD Lucha PPV (available in both English & Spanish commentary) is headed your way in less than two weeks!
