AEW announced on Twitter Monday they have offically signed Big Swole and Kris Statlander for their women’s division.
Swole is scheduled to compete against Emi Sakura on this week’s episode of Dynamite from Garland, Texas live on TNT.
She made her debut with the company at the All Out Pay-Per View back in August as part of the all women’s Casino Battle Royale pre-show.
She made an appearance on August 1, 2016 episdoe of WWE Raw, losing to Nia Jax, and also worked the 2018 Mae Young Classic, losing in the first round to Zeuxis.
Swole (real name Aerial Monroe) married WWE Superstar Cedric Alexander on June 30, 2018.
Kris Statlander (real name Kristen Statlander) made her professional wrestling debut in 2017.
She has competed for Beyond Wrestling, Shimmer, House of Glory, Ring of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling, among other promotions.
Statlander defeated the number one contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship, Hikaru Shida by pinfall on last week’s episode of Dynamite.
