WWE and the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) have announced an expansion of their event partnership.
The expansion of the partnership, which runs through 2027, will include a second annual large-scale event. WWE has been running two events per year in Saudi Arabia since 2018. WWE and the GEA will also work towards completing a media agreement in the MENA region.
This press release comes after the WWE talent and crew experienced a frustrating day of travel out of Saudi Arabia that caused the roster to miss a taping of Friday Night SmackDown this past week.
