Power Wrestling Federation comes to Laconia, N.H. on July 10 for Fundraiser Event
On Saturday night, July 10, the Power Wrestling Federation will join forces with the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region to host a special fundraiser event at the Laconia High School in Laconia, N.H. A portion of the proceeds generated by ticket sales will go directly to benefiting several of the programs the organization sponsors.
To ensure an action-packed night of high quality in-ring competition, the Power Wrestling Federation has reached out to several big name stars who have signed on to take part in this special event. Those stars include WWE Legend, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, TNA X Division Champion, Kazarian and making his PWF return, TNA Superstar, “The Monster” Abyss. Along with these great competitors will be a host of your favorite PWF Superstars, as well as Laconia High School graduate and rising star, “Heart Attack” Tommy Mack.
Tickets for this event are $12.00 when purchased in advance or $15.00 at the door.

Doors will open at 7:00 pm, allowing fans to enter the building and meet the stars of the show prior to the 8:00 pm Bell Time. There will also be a 50/50 raffle taking place and refreshments will be sold at the concession stand.

WWE Legend: Jake “The Snake” Roberts & “The German Hammer” Josef Von Schmidt
In what will be an absolute knock-down, drag-out, brawl, Laconia’s Own, “Heart Attack” Tommy Mack teams up with “The Monster” Abyss to battle “The German Hammer” Josef Von Schmidt and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. This unique match-up came about following the interesting series of events highlighted below:
April 10 at PWF Start a War – Josef Von Schmidt & Tommy Mack were both successful in their PWF debuts. Though Von Schmidt’s victory came in controversial fashion.
April 11 – Josef Von Schmidt released a video statement to announce that he would not be at Proving Ground on June 5, as he will be taking time to heal an injury caused by carrying too many championship belts at once. After viewing the video, several PWF superstars contacted PWF management about getting an opportunity to step in the ring with Von Schmidt and teach him a lesson about running his mouth. While Don Vega was amongst those stars and is eager to get his revenge on a Von Schmidt, there was a no-rematch clause stipulated in his Start a War contract, which prevents PWF management from evoking a rematch between the two as long as Von Schmidt is International Champion. As a result, PWF management turned to other potential challengers, with Tommy Mack standing out at the top of the pack.
April 17 – PWF Management agreed to a deal with the Laconia High School in Laconia, NH and began negotiations with Von Schmidt and Mack to bring the two competitors together for Mack’s homecoming event. Confident in his “superior German abilities,” Von Schmidt agreed to give Mack a shot at his International title, provided Mack beat him on at least one occasion.
April 24 – After a week of intense arbitration, PWF Management dictated that Von Schmidt and Mack would indeed compete on July 10 in a special “Pick Your Partner Tag Team Dream Match.” If Team Von Schmidt wins, Mack will not only miss an opportunity at the International Championship, but will also be embarrassed in front of his hometown. If Team Mack wins, Mack will get an immediate title shot at the following event. With both sides agreeing to the deal, all that was left was for each competitor to pick a partner.
May 4 – PWF Management was notified of each man’s partner of choice and the match was made. Josef Von Schmidt & Jake “The Snake” Roberts will take on Tommy Mack & “The Monster” Abyss. Not only will this match mark the return of Laconia’s favorite son, but also the first time ever that Abyss & Jake Roberts do battle in the squared circle.
With so many interesting storylines playing out in this match, it will be very intriguing to see what happens. PWFwrestlingnow.com has already sent staff to Berlin, Germany and Laconia, NH to get comments from both Mack & Von Schmidt regarding their choice of teammates and thoughts going into this mega main event! TNA X Division Champion comes to PWF
TNA X Division Champion: Kazarian vs. “Your Hero” Mike Magnum
PWF Management was ecstatic to find out that TNA X Division Champion, Kazarian was on board to make his PWF Debut at International Invasion on July 10. Kazarian’s high-flying, high-impact tenacity is something fans can look forward to when he hit’s the ring in Laconia, NH. His opponent that evening will be PWF’s “self proclaimed personal savior” Mike Magnum.
Since losing to Abyss in a Monsters Ball Match at Start a War, Magnum has been ranting and raving, demanding he get another opportunity at the main event spotlight. He has barraged the PWF offices with phone calls and emails, saying over and over again that the loss was a fluke and that he still is “Everyone’s Hero.”
Tired of the incessant complaining, PWF Management decided to give Magnum an ultimatum; put up or shut up. So the match is set, Mike Magnum will have a major opportunity to make some waves, as he steps into the ring with the current X Division Champion, Kazarian. Will “Your Hero” be able to pull off the biggest win of his career, or will Magnum continue his fall from grace? Find out on July 10!
