Ousta! Welcome back to the only WrestleView column covering topics both nowhere yet everywhere at once. If you are new to the column you are probably going to hate me for the first couple weeks, but then you are going to hit a point where you say ‘oh wait a minute, I think he gets it’. Don’t worry, that’s exactly how it is designed to be. This column is all about gut reactions and traveling thoughts. As the great Andy Kaufman once said: “I just want real reactions. I want people to laugh from the gut, be sad from the gut, or get angry from the gut”.

After the chaos of random draft picks on Raw Monday night, the 8th WWE Draft will conclude Wednesday, April 28 at Noon ET, with the 2010 WWE Supplemental Draft, held exclusively on WWE.com and WWEUniverse.com. Beginning at Noon ET, supplemental draft picks by Raw and SmackDown will be announced. The Supplemental Draft will be hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel.
-yay! I actually tend to look forward to this draft more than the one on TV. It affects more wrestlers, and moves around guys that I have interest towards
WWE Superstar Chris Jericho and his band Fozzy will be playing a concert on May 22, 2010 at New York New York Concert Club in Chesterfield Twp just outside Detroit the day before WWE Over the Limit PPV.
-I’m not posting this because of the concert, I just think it is hilarious that there is a New York, New York Concert Club just outside of Detroit
According to AAA television, former TNA X division champion Christopher Daniels is headed to the Lucha Libre promotion. They announcement suggests that Daniels is now part of the coalition of foreign workers currently “invading” AAA called “La Legion Extranjera” (The Foreign Legion in English).
-ok, this makes a little bit more sense. I’m going to throw out that Daniels is more a part of this talent exchange than being released from TNA (just a REMOTE possibility). When I asked a TNA employee about releasing Daniels, he said nobody had any idea what was going on
TNA was aware of the fact that Sean Waltman did not intend to work the Lockdown Fan Fest and PPV over the weekend. As we mentioned, he did work an independent show Saturday night in Milwaukee, so obviously he was not ill as rumored. Another story making the rounds is that Waltman had a wrestling license issue in the state of Missouri. Mike Johnson is reporting that Waltman is expected at television this week in some fashion.
-in other words, as per the usual, no one has any idea and if we throw enough theories at the wall, something HAS to stick and be true
Former WCW and WWE star Bill Goldberg has commented on his elimination last night from Celebrity Apprentice. “Sorry I didn’t win everyone….. If I would have stayed any longer they would have put me in jail for murdering someone. Being a contestant just ain’t me.Sorry to let u down”
-no hard feelings, he was AWESOME on the show!
The Nasty Boys are hosting a WWE PPV party at the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach, FL on Sunday.
-that would be fascinating to attend
Lilian Garcia wrote of her Raw experience tonight on Raw via Twitter: “Wow, what a night! Was called in 2 announce Raw since the Raw SS & Justin were stuck in Europe. Glad 2 help! Felt great!! :-))”
-it felt great having her back. There was a familiarity in her voice that made the chaotic night very comfortable. This isn’t to take anything away from Justin Roberts because I believe he is very talented and great at his job
Unfortunately, most of Monday Night Raw’s Superstars and Divas were stranded in Europe due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland, and unable to attend Raw live from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. However, the show went on, with Triple H and the Superstars of Friday night SmackDown – including The Undertaker, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger – invading Monday night. If you would like a ticket refund for Monday’s live show, you can obtain one starting Tuesday at noon at the Izod Center box office only. This refund period for the WWE Universe will last until noon on Friday, April 23.
-that’s a really classy move from the WWE. That being said, any fan that attended and was still entertained by the event should be ashamed if they get a refund. If a fan hated the show because they didn’t get to see the advertised talent, that is one thing. But if a fan was entertained but wants a refund, that’s juts disgraceful
AJ Styles was not a happy camper last night. Not only was Styles upset about having to drop the title, he was also quite upset when Van Dam failed to hook his leg for the pin. When Styles returned to the back, he simply changed and left the building without conversing with others. The backstage reaction was mixed with some feeling Styles was being a bit of baby for not wanting to drop the title, as others felt management didn’t keep Styles strong as he looked weak losing the strap the first time he didn’t have Ric Flair in his corner. In recent times, Styles has been keeping to himself, doing his own thing backstage and not always tuned in to television monitors to watch the show.
-mmm I’m going to take this one with a grain of salt for now
Former TNA Knockout champion Angelina Love suffered a bicep tear at last night’s Impact tapings in Orlando, FL.
-ouch
Former WWE diva Maria has started talks with TNA, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter
-nice! The more Maria on TV the better
